Yep I gave up a long time ago callling bearing suppliers.

Still looking for the post on this forum where an owner got maytag to send him a complete Outer Tub. Have you called Maytag page 73 of the Service Manual.

Demand a replacement Outer Tub and see what it gets you.

I'll try to get you some demensions of the Spinner Support locking nut that fits in the Old Style Outer Tub with the notches see page 48 of the Service Manual lower left pic ot tech holding the Spinner Support locking nut.

From what I see of your pic of your Outer Tub I don't see how you could notch out any material to fit the mounting ears of the Upper One-Way bearing ring. It looks like that lower bearing hub has no access material to dremel out. When your new Clutch Pulley arrives you can over lay that Upper Bearing ring and see what is doable with a dremel tool if anything.

You are the first forum member that has posted a pic of a new/later Outer Tub showing no notches this helps me explain to others the issue of owners can run into.

But let me hear back from you when you receive and overlay that Upper Bearing ring. Also is there enough of the Spinner Support sticking above the 1.75" nut allowing for what I call the Spinner Shaft Coupler to seat properly?

Will the notches in your current Spinner Shaft Coupler engage the notches Spinner Support properly?

I would beat Maytag up for a new Outer Tub.
