The "TOP" light in the fresh food dept sometimes goes off or stays off when you open the door,and the TOP light when Off gets hot.the other light [lower] works correctly.
I unpluged it onec and it seemd to fix the problem but now it is doing it again.

It sounds like a motherboard problem. If you pull out the refrigerator it is behind a panel held in by three 1/4 inch screws. The part # is WR55X10552 Tom
