Our 4 year old Artica decided to stop working today... the lights on the water/ice dispenser are on, but nothing functions. The temp settings inside the fridge section aren't on and the fridge isn't cooling. We're being told it's the "control panel" (circuit board?), and that it'll run $399 to fix it. Does that all sound reasonable? The assessment of the problem AND the price?

Yes, it could be the control board.

Look up the part on this site using your Model Number
This will give you the price of the board, a repair shop normally marks the price up higher.

I would also use advanced search in the Refrigerator section for "inverter"
I think your unit uses this.
