The dishwasher does not dry completely, staying a little damp in the bottom of the tub. It has Jet Dry and it seems to be using it. I noticed that the unit doesn't feel as warm on the outside as it once did prompting me to check for heater operation. On the rinse cycle the current was measured at about 11-12 amperes. This was during the regular wash but not sure which rinse. I thought it was during the Rinse-aid 161 F rinse but noted that the unit filled again and rinsed for a short time but heater did not come on this time. Should it have heated during this last rinse so as to be good and hot for drying? I am assuming that the drying heat is the left-over heat from rinsing!? I am not aware of a drying heater. My house hold water heater is supplying 140 degree water. I don't remember any dampnes after drying in the past, maybe I am wrong and and the dishwasher is okay. Any ideas anyone, thanks.

You can learn how your dishwasher works from the " Use & care manual" (pages 17 & 21). You can perform the troubleshooting using the troubleshooting manual from one of our previous posts: http://forum.appliancepartspros...troubleshoot-manual.html and the break down diagrams and the parts list for the Bosch dishwasher Model SHU3322 UC/06Keep in mind that dishes made of plastic will never dry properly due to their porous surface. It is very important not to open the door before the cycle is finished to prevent cold air from coming inside the dishwasher. Gene.
