We keep getting code C4 which means too much water. There is no water in the dishwasher.(maybe just a little)
We push reset, turn the dishwasher lever to on, push the cycle selection, and then it acts like it is going to start for a second or two, then the C4 appears.
Is there any way possible for me to get rid of the C4 error code?

Donna, You have to shut the water supply off, lock the door and allow the machine to pump out water in order to clear the code. Once the water level reaches an acceptable level, the dishwasher will allow a reset and all will be well until next time. I have dealt w/ this code 3 or 4 times. I believe that it is a drain issue causing it. Good luck Jeff

When i ran dishwasher this morning it stopped w/ a C4 code. As there was food in the garbage disposal, I ran that & then restarted the dishwasher. Had the same problem as the original questioner, code kept coming up although there was no water in dishwasher. Thanks again.......U saved me some $$$$$ allie

I left a message earlier with my repairman after some water leaked into the dishwater from my kitch sink over flowing causing water to run over and down the counters. When I attempted to run the washer, this code C4 appeared. I decided to go on line in an effort to avoid the cost of a repair and IT WORKED! Thank you so much.
