Ok so my fridge is not cooling all the time. I cleaned the coils, observed the compressor fan running when the compressor was running. I inspected the evaporator and fan and observed it cycle in and ok of defrost mode very good. The evaporator fan would run sometimes without the compressor on so I checked for power to compressor and got 120 when I turned the freezer control dial left or right. I changed out the defrost control board with a new adaptive control kit that came with a new wiring harness part number 5303918476. My only concern about that is the new harness had no connection for the two wires that slide into the hole just below the damper going into the freezer. What are these two wires that are wrapped in foil tape that appears to be no longer needed? Anyways this did not change my problem at all. I did notice that when I turn the freezer control dial the compressor will kick right on and run for awhile. There is plenty of room for air to circulate around the compressor and it is defrosting fine. The compressor should be running because it's above normal temps buts it's not. Any suggestions : )
