I have a FRIGIDAIRE dishwasher PLD2855RFC1. After each cycle there is a puddle of water at the top right of the door, i believe this is created from steam from the hotwater. The gasket around the door seems in tact. Logic would say that the gasket is bad, but it doesnt look that way. Any ideas?

Thanks, that seems to make sense. Would it be just the vent assy i'd need (eg: AP3214759), or something more? Thanks

Should be just the vent.
I would check if any hot moist air is coming out of it just to be sure that this is the problem.
Could also be the control board not activating it. You could check the actuator to see if it has resistance and is not open (infinite ohms) |

Thanks, Yes hot moist air is coming out of it at that location. Nothing is coming out of the vent. I'll order up the part and see what happens. Thanks

I got the new vent assy this week and installed. I'm still having the water build up on the sill. there is no steam coming out of the vent. Does this mean the circuit board is bad? If so, which one do i need? I see there is two. Thanks

Yes it is probably the control board, Item 3 in Section 1.
Try running the water/Service Test to see if it opens. It is in the wiring diagram. |
