If anyone can help.
Our washing machine most of the time on the rinse cycle...it well just make noise like its spinning but it just drains the water from the bottom and when the spin cycle is done....all the clothes will just be sitting at the bottom...
sometimes gotta re rinse 2 x...or gotta kinda help it get started spinning manually

Monitor the washer during spin period, if power is never interupted, you have a bad timer,If you can get it to spin by manually turning it off and on.You will need to use your model # to get the part.

I've monitored the washer quite a bit of times.....sometimes it will wash correctly but most times it will just make noise like it's doin what its supposed to. But all it's doing is draining the water from the bottom on the rinse cycle but never spins (so some of the water just sits in the clothes....but appreciate the help

Seems like you have a slipping clutch, maybe oil soaked from an oil leak, just take apart and check.

ive got the same problem installed new clutch check coupler and re tightened drive block it will spin empty but not with stuff in it,any ideas except tranny.

For both of you, remove pump and motor and turn tranny coupler clockwise till the basket tries to turn. If very hard to turn the coupler, you have stuck brake shoes. Go to my "sticky" above "replacing direct drive brake shoes" for info.

rich isnt spin counter clockwise?Ive read where drive block wears and slips down binding the inner drum,ive got a new one today.Ill post later of my results also pulled out brakes and clean them all of and inside brake housing.or is it trans coupler clockwise turn drive shaft counter because brake release is counter.

For the last 12 years it's allways been clockwise.

the drive block was bad cleaned the brakes and brake drum all is well with the world thank you for all your help.
