the outer door glass shattered by itself...haven't used the oven in two days and was not using it this morning when it completely shattered.... there has never been any dismantling of the door or anything associated with cleaning or repair.....it just shattered with a loud pop and glass flew everywhere.........any ideas....and how much is that glass.......this is a hazardous defect!!!!!

Here are your parts Model FEF364DWBany ideas Some times they just go. I never over tighten screws etc. when installing glass. They do not want it to rattle so often it fits into the frame tighter than I would design it. Also the glass itself can build up internal stresses and eventually go. how much is that glass See above link this is a hazardous defect!!!!! Not really, that is why they make it with safety glass. A thousand small pieces is better that 3 0r 4 sharp jagged pieces flying at you. |

ok....so i have to live with it.....not right....just glad that my grand kids were'nt standing in front of it when it decided to blow........i mean this thing exploded.......i guess i shouldn't put a new one in......the only safe thing to do...........
