I tried to find parts to repair an overheated magic chef under counter refridgerator and cannot get any. How do I best try to repair a starter switch componenet?

You could try calling to see if they can get the parts

I did look at mcappliance.com
Unfortunately both the Motor Protector and the PTC Starter were on back order.
Perhaps they can give you a local dealer who carries these parts
