The freezer works but the frig does not cool.

Can you recheck that model number, I'm not seeing this one anywhere... Be sure to include all the characters from the id tag/plate... Usually the cubit feet are placed in the model number; your example would exhibit a 12 cu ft refrigerator... I'm 5'6" and could easily look over the top of a 12 cu ft fridge...

I did find some FCD12TF** models.. If yours is similar then it's a unit with an evaporator coil in the freezer/fridge compartments that you manually defrost... If the cold plate in the rear of the fridge is not frosted or cold to the touch then you may have a low refrigerant charge or restriction in the system... Would take someone refrigerant-handling certified to repair... Is the compressor running constantly?? If the fridge compartment is warm then the thermostat would have the compressor running continuously... Check the frost buildup in the freezer, is it mostly on one side or is it evenly building up on the evaporator walls... post back, kooler
