I finally got around to tearing into my washer tonight. Found out that my upper bearing is seized up. I am going to try and throw some wd-40 on it overnight but it seems like it is fitting very tight on the coupler. Is their any place where you can buy this reasonably of it doesn't work to unseize it? Thanks so much for all your effort you put into this forum all your direction is very good and very helpful.

brandvz,

I think this post will help you. FAV6800A/FAV9800A Outer Tub bearing replacement

These machines are ready for an outer tub rebuild. Just replacing the Clutch pulley assembly without replacing the Tub Seal/Tranny seal and possible Outer Tub bearings/Spinner Support bearings delays a real fix. In this post FAV6800A/FAV9800A Outer Tub bearing replacement I call out the generic part number for FAV6800A/FAV9800A machines.

If you don't have water leaking past the tub seal/tranny o-ring a new Clutch Pulley assembly will get you back in service but again that is a short term fix.

Google p/n 25001169 and look for best price. Please support this forum with other parts buys if you rebuild the machine..........Dick
