Initial trouble was water streaming out of ice maker. had repair person in who put in a dual-valve water valve kit. Water now worked great, but seems faster than normal. Ice cube maker tray fills with water, heater turns on to melt ice to eject it, but never seems to melt it enough to eject the ice. Small icicles (less than 3 inches) seem to keep forming on the side. The tray that catches the ice is set in properly, the ice arm is down, and the door is closed. One time, when we felt it was getting close to eject, we aided it with a hair dryer and it did eject. (We had felt the heater warming up.) BUT, it won't do it on its own. I just spent $277.45 and feel I am just missing something that I could fix on my own. Thank you so much.

Sounds like a faulty ice maker.

Would the dual valve AND the icemaker break at the same time? The dual valve did fix the water spewing issue. Thanks for the quick reply!
