Hi,
I'm new to this forum however, i've been trying to research my problem with no success.
My Bosh SHU 5315UC dishwasher was acting up so I decided to check the solder point on the control board, I had fixed this a couple of years back. It looked fine so I reassembled the unit and started the washer, I then pressed the cancel drain program and poof it shorted and died. I accidentally connected a two-wire connector which is meant for the SHU68 model, it's for the top rack actuator.
I bought and installed and new control module.
It seemed to start up and read 88 min. I then pressed cancel drain program (reset) and it quickly stopped and showed CL on the display with one led on. It's completely stuck on CL and doesn't do anything. I decided to try another board.
Once the 2nd board was installed it did the exact same thing and just shows CL on the display and one led is on.
My question is. Would there be some other switch that was shorted due to the extra connector which I should not have attached?
Thanks

What is the part number of the control board you installed?
Did you use the coding plug from the old control board?
What is the end of the model number?
Gene.

Hi Gene, The full model number is SHU5315/UC12 The control module I installed was 266746 Yes i replaced the jumper plug from the old module. I'm pretty sure that I fried something when I mistakenly added the two wire plug to the control board, this is only for the SHU68 model and it is for the upper rack. It shorted out the old module when I pressed the specified buttons which run the test program (cancel drain + power). When installed a new board it simply reads CL on the display and doesn't do a thing. I'm very puzzled by this. Originally Posted by: Gene What is the part number of the control board you installed?
