Thanks for getting back to me. Part no from label is WR55X10556. Fridge model is GSA22KEPAFBB. Tape appears original......the 'tongue' of the box on the opening side is on the outside with a half inch wide ribbon looking tape overtaped with clear packing tape.

Is there a market of dodgy ones??

That's the part no from the label on the cardboard box by the way. Did you want me to look at the board itself?

Tha board you got is the latest re-designed one for your fridg.
It's possable your fresh food thermistor is off value, should read 16.6 kohm imersed in ice water for 5 minutes.Also, at room temperature, should read 5 kohm.

ok, I'll re-check the thermistors - from memory it was 15.8k when I checked before which *should* be just inside tolerance from what I've read.

Is it normal for the evaporator fan to continue running when the doors are open with the newer boards do you know?

As far as I remember, the new boards allow the fan to run when the door is open.
