Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/22/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		Admiral ATW4475VQ0 about 2 1/2 years old Developed a loud squealing sound last night. Seems to spin fine, noise has gotten quieter but still loud. Any suggestions? Thanks.

At its age it is unlikely something is wrong mechanically, so take off the cabinet and check and see if something is caught between the tub and basket. If all is clear, by pass the lid switch with a jumper and operate it with the cabinet off. You might be able to hear where the problem is coming from.
