Can someone tell me how to remove the ice maker from this refrigerator. It looks like it should slide right out by releasing the little tab on the lower left corner, this only loosens it. There is ice frozen in the fingers and I can't get anything in there to free it up.

Matt,
Matt, First thing, unplug the power cord or remove power to the refrigerator, Then remove the ice cube container/bin from the compartment. In the left hand side wall of the ice maker / bin compartment you'll see the removable wire harness cover, that extends from the front of the compartment, back to the rear wall [AP4081955] . use a car or house key, insert it into the small rectangular opening and press down on the hidden locking tab and slide the panel forward a 1/4 to 3/8 of an inch, to dingage the tabs holding the panel to the wall. once the panel is removed, press down on the tab on the front left corner of the icemaker assembly and slide the whole assembly out of the compartment, then disconnect the wiring harness. Thanks and Good Luck

Thanks and Good Luck,
