I have a Kenmore stove that has a problem with the front right burner. Regardless of the setting on the knob, it stays on high heat the whole time. I have replaced the infinite switch because most of what I have read on the issue suggests that this is the most likely cause but that did not fix it. I also replaced the main control board because there are relays on that board and if one of them failed high, it could cause the same thing. After replacing the two parts, I still have the same issue. Is there anything else in the circuit that could be causing the problem?

This is something I would need to troubleshoot with a multimeter and a wiring diagram.
Does the switch turn the burner off?

Does the switch turn the burner off? The switch does turn the burner off. I replaced the burner assembly thinking that the current limiter could have gone bad but that didn't make any difference either. I've tried to test the infinite switch but my terminals are not labeled L1, L2, H1, H2 & P. I have a P1, P2, S1, S2, 4, 4a & a 2. It is part number 8522405.
