This is a 12 year old Gas Whirlpool and on the automatic cycle it has started to dry the clothes to much. I am not sure if it will automatically shut off or not.

i do not see a sensor on your dryer. i would replace the internal bias thermostat, that is mounted on the back. the part # is 3387134. tom [url=]applianceeducator.com - parts[/url]
