I have a Frigidaire electrice range/oven . It is 7 years old. The other day the right front element would not turn off. I have had to turn the breaker off and on to use the stove.
The RF element has an inner and outer coil. The inner coil is the one that does not shut off.
I suspect a powerbord issue but is there anyway to confirm that before buying a new board?
I think I rule out the switch because I opened up the back top half of the stove and pulled the wires off the terminal and flipped the breaker back on an the element still came on. Thank you for you help

Looks like you are on the right track. Most likely the problem is a bad surface control power board. - The power board Part number: AP4499660

Gene,
Is there anyway to confirm it's anything else other than the power board?

Jeff,
This power board is only part which provides power for all surface elements. There is nothing else but fused contacts in one of relays.
Gene.
