we have a 4-yr old GE Profile side by side refrigerator that does not seem to hold the set refrigerator temp. we set it for 37 degrees, but it shows 4042. we had one repairman come out who ran the diagnostics and said despite the temp not reading correctly on the fridge (the freezer temp is holding fine), that the fridge was still holding a proper temp to keep our food safe. well, that is nice, however, if we set the temp to read 37, we expect it to read and be 37. so we called another repairman. he saw that fridge evaporator was partially frozen so cold air that is supposed to blow across was not doing so. he ordered three parts to repair this - a de-ice kit, a thermostat sensor and a new computer board. the parts arrived, they told me to unplug the fridge overnight so it would be easy to work with and that they would come out the next day and repair it. this all happened and all seemed fine. the following morning, and every day since, the temp is still at 39-41 degrees in the fridge. don't know what to do. make another call for service? any suggestions?

anything special we need to use to measure the freezer temp? i don't believe the fridge is running longer than normal, but then, to be honest, i'm not sure what normal is.
