Hi, I've been searching the forum looking for someone with this same problem, but I haven't found exactly the same issue. My kenmore front loader will start a cycle, but soon into the cycle (less than 2 minutes) it will stop and display the FH code. There is water and pressure and no problems with the intake. Water from both hot and cold freely flows into the machine when the cycle first begins. If I pause and resume the machine will again flow water, agitate, drain whatever it is supposed to be doing for a minute or less and then the FH code appears again.

I bought this set used and despite the seller's assurances that the washer was properly drained, it was frozen up. I have replaced the intake valve as a result, the pump, and everything else seems to be working fine. Could the flow sensor have been ice damaged? I would think this is the best possibility. any other ideas? Thanks in advance.

Bumping this up, put more money worth of parts into the machine. New flow sensor, didn't fix the problem. Any guesses? I'm thinking the central control board must be next.

Perform the recommended procedures of the troubleshooting as described in the Service manual (page 48).

Use the manual Gene provided to do so,e tests before you go replacing the control board. The FHA has several causes, but I have found most to be the pressure switch not actuating properly. Just my two cents.

I figured it out with some help from some internet photos I found. When my inlet valves leaked, it sprayed water all over the inside of the machine. I took the CCU out to make sure it was good and dry before running the machine again. The plug for the flow meter wasn't in the correct position. All is well now, and all thanks to the internet.

We are glad you were able to fix it.
