so my PSS27SHNA BS started acting up a month or so ago when the express thaw would constantly run.last night the tempature in the fridge and freezer raised and then stopped cooling all together.now i dont hear the compressor trying to kick in at all and the temp is around 68 degrees and rising.

i just unplugged the unit for a few minutes and plugged her in & she fired back up and seems to be cooling back down ?:confused:

thanks for the reply.so now she,s holding steady at 0 in the freezer and 37 in the fridge but the express thaw light is still on and seems to run when i close the door.even if i reset the express thaw it stays off for a moment and then comes on again.my thoughts were to replace the motherboard but im just not sure if thats her malfunction.

You may want to order the main control board to be ready to replace it as soon as the refrigerator will start acting up again. You have 365 days to return it, so it is nothing to worry about.

ok so i got the new mother board and installed her.it fixed the express thaw issue.now the fridge is staying at its thirty somethng degrees but the freezer seems to always be running to hold 4 to 10 degees.it seems to never stop trying to freeze.any ideas of whats next for her ?

Gene. yes gene i hear it engaged all the time trying to cool the freezer to 0
