I push the cycle button that is needed (Blue light comes on as normal), does not matter whick one. Now push the Start/pause button (It does not come on) after about 30 seconds, the blue cycle lights go out. The DW makes no noise or motion during any of this. Do you know what the problem is & the correction?

Do the following: 1. Unplug dishwasher or disconnect power. 2. Open the dishwasher door. 3. Open console and disconnect the keypad ribbon connection from the control (at P1). Make sure all other connections are made. 4. Put console back together. Do not close the dishwasher door. 5. Plug in dishwasher or reconnect power. 6. Wait 5 seconds. 7. Close dishwasher door. 8. Monitor the control’s response If the control is OK (no longer sees shorts with the keypad unplugged), it will respond by turning on a Drain Motor for 2 minutes. Replace the keypad if the control responds OK. If the control is not OK (still sees shorts with the keypad unplugged), then the drain motor will NOT respond and will remain off. If no response, replace the control. The keypad is the part of the console. If you need the correct part number for the console, post the color of it. - The control board Part number: AP4303742

In your response to my DW issues you stated what to do however, you also stated: if you (no longer sees shorts with the keypad unplugged) is this something that I should be seing? there are no messages or blinking. The lights come on on cycle but the start does not light up when it is pushed & in about 30 seconds after pushing the start, the blue light on cycle goes out, nothing else happens. What should be done?

I followed your instructions to disconnect ribbon cable at P1. when I shut door as instructed, DW motor came on & stayed on until I opened door a few minutes later to stop it. I reconnected the ribbon cable & the front controls work as they did prior to disconnecting ribbon cable, the start/pause button does not come on when I push it & DW does not start. What should be done next?

If the console is the outside of the face of the DW, it is black, what is the part number for the Keypad?
