purchased my whirlpool side by side refrigrator brand new in oct 2010 used for four months left home for almost 8 months disconted power at home when retuned home cleaned out inside or fridge when tried to conect to outlet it triped the breakers to the outlets in that area of the kitchen when using and adapter to the three pronged plug on regrigrator to contect it to a two pronged extension cord the lights came on the the fridge but nothing else came on not the fan or the compressor
