Hello,
My Whirlpool QP II has been on the fritz lately. For some time now glasses have been coming out of this thing dirtier than they went in, but now it seems like there is no water hitting the top shelf at all. Heated water fills the tub and drains ok, but dishes remain quite soiled and the detergent dish still has some detergent in it. It seems like maybe the sprayers aren't working properly...
Any advice?
Thanks, Jay

Hi,
I wonder if the dishwasher is filling with enough water. After it fills and starts washing open the door and check the water level.
The water level should be just under the heating element.

I will check that when I get home.... I think it is. I'll let you know in a couple of hours... I also plan on taking apart the drain housing (I'm sure I'm calling it by the wrong name) and seeing if there are any chunks of stuff, broken wine glasses, etc.

Update... The washer was filling with enough water.
I took apart the drain housing and then removed the cover to the food grinder and found: peas, corn, a toothpick, 5 shards of wine glass, 2 balled up Hershey kiss wrappers, and a Q-tip. (your guess is as good as mine)
Also switched to Finish detergent tablets, did a vinegar cycle, and added jet dry... Washing MUCH better now.
