My wall oven/microwave combo control panel display went out. I replaced electronic control and the display came back. But I have a new problem. The microwave works fine, but the oven only works with the door open. I f I set the oven on the display indicates it is on but I get a flashing close door signal and the interior light comes on.There is no oven heat. If I open door the oven works just fine. When the display went out originally the oven was not in use. Any ideas?

Looks like there is something wrong with the door switch wires connected to the control board. Open the control panel and double check all wire connections according to the wiring diagram. Here are the break down diagrams for the Kitchen Aid oven/microwave combination Model KEMC308KSS0Gene.

Everything worked fine until new board installed. Wiring checks out ok. What is possibility of problem with the new board, such as acircuit that is backwards.Do you know of any issues with this board. Part #8302346?

Did you connect the Tan and the Yellow wires at the "P5-10" terminal?
Check all wires at the "P5" connector according to the wiring diagram.

According to the wiring diagram for a 30" wall oven the tan and yellow go as they were conncted originally. The new board is the exact replacement. All the connectors go to the same connections as the old board. I have checked the connections several times.

Possible the new part is defective. You have to talk to people who sold it to you regarding the part warranty.
