The lid on the soap dispenser does not spring open. It appears that the spring is just to loose, but not sure how that can happen. I am about ready to order the spring but how do I know for sure what is causing the dispenser to not spring open? Is it common for the Spring to just stop working? Wondering if maybe there is supposed to be a plastic lip on the dispenser base that the spring connects onto?
