Hi, my nearly 2 years old Affinity dryer's control panel is dead: it does not light. I checked the breaker, but it is fine. The light inside is fine. Please help me! Thank you.

Since the interior light works you know that you have power for the board as it sues the same side of the line as the light (Neutral to L1).

Try pushing the door switch to see if the light goes off. If not then the door switch is toast.
Note: That this does not totally eliminate the door switch as the cause, Just because the Common to Normally Closed contacts open killing power to the light does not mean that the Common to Normally Open contacts actually close.

Best way to check it is to unplug the unit, disconnect the switch and check it with a meter.

If the door switch is OK then it is probably a bad connection somewhere or the board is toast.
