I have a problem with my electric dryer. My dryer heats up and my fan seems to be working fine however the heat does not seem to be getting sucked into the drum. When the drum turms the heat does not seem to transfer into the drum however once the drum stops turning(turns off) you can feel the heat transfering into the drum. I just replaced a defective thermal cut off and the high limit thermostat and still it does not seem to help. It seems as though the unit gets to hot and then the thermal cut off shuts down the heating element. The heating element does not work again until the fuse is reset. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Make sure the vents inside and outside the dryer (up to the vent outlet) are clean and the vent hose behind the dryer is not kinked or bend.

Gene.
