I have a Kitchen Aid combination convection oven & microwave, Model KEMC308KSS (Serial # XM3805261, manuf date Sept. 2002).

Yesterday, the upper microwave oven stopped heating /reheating food. The carousel and all lights work. I'm assuming the magnetron or the diode to the magnetron failed. Any other thoughts or suggestions?

Does anyone have a disassembly procedure to troubleshoot the magnetron and/or diode?

Any help or replies greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Pete

Can you let me know how your repair went? I am having the same issue. The micro looks like all is well but it does not heat and the oven temp will only hit 340.

Thanks
