The ice maker is not making ice.
There seems to be no water coming into the maker. I have removed the line from the back of the fridge and the line is not frozen. There is water in the line. The water will dispense from the door but it seems that water will not drop into the ice maker tray.
I removed the line from the back and put it into a large bottle over night to see how much water was trying to dispense and it was about an ounce.
Over the last month or so the ice maker was getting very loud and "creaky" sounding when making ice.
Could it be the unit in the freezer not sending a signal to the pump or is the pump just not working properly....or something else?
What should I check next?
