Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/25/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		Kenmore Elite Residential front load washer purchased new Sept. 2005. Never a problem until my son over, over, loaded the machine. Slow spins OK, but when high-speed spin starts the banging, hammering, knocking sound begins. Taking it apart in the morning. Not sure what broken part to look for. ALSO....After I unplugged the power for 5 minutes and plugged back in....the panel buttons are "LOCKED". Need to know how to reset so I can use the panel buttons again.

Also, inside the lower service panel or under the top you should find tech notes that will show you how to do some testing and maybe generate error codes.
