Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 2/2/2009(UTC) Posts: 2		I need to replace the potentiometer that ignites/controls the simmer burners, Thermador part 20-01-872, Bosch part # AP2825521. This part is No Longer Available. Can it be substituted by a later potentiometer, Bosch422748 or AP3782975? Greatly appreciate your help on this. Rosendo

I later found Potentiometer Kit AP 3872616,; this includes the simmer controller (it looks like the same one) and two potentiometers (AP 3782975/Bosch #422748). I think my simmer controller is still OK; I switched the defective potentiometer with the one good one and it worked on the defective/non-igniting burner. I ordere two potentiometers. If they don't bring my cooktop up to par, then I'll swallow hard and buy the simmer controller also. Wish me luck and thanks again for your help. Rosendo
