Our Maytag Performa gas dryer no longer dries when we select the auto sensor setting, but does fine on the timed dry. I assume there is a sensor of some sort that I need to replace. I am having trouble finding the part name/number, any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

i did not see a sensor on the part breakdown or the wiring diagram. i would start by replacing the control thermostat. part # 31001088. tom applianceeducator.com - parts
