 Hoping someone can help. My electric dryer recently stopped drying, it runs but doesn't heat. I just changed the heating element, thermostat and cut off fuse at the same time and heating element came on. I thought it was fixed but stopped heating within 30 minutes?? Any idea on what else it could be, wiring seems in tact. Could it be the dryer thermostat??

model# 110.86873800 -kenmore electric dryer

Thanks.

The first thing I would check is the thermal fuse.
Check the thermal fuse for continuity and replace if it's open.

The thermal fuse

Also check the vent, the air ducts inside the dryer and the blower. Looks like the dryer was overheated.
