I moved and cut the water/icemaker tube so movers can take refrigerator, now I don't get water or ice.....how to reconnect the line to get water and make ice.

Which tube did you cut off - from the wall to the refrigerator or inside the refrigerator?

:cool: I cut both outside tubes to the ice maker and water line. Could it be fix or do I have to buy anything to reconnect them back together? Also now my refrigerator is in the basement next to my washer would that be a problem connecting it?

You need the water line installation kit to hook up the refrigerator to the water source. If you did cut the plastic tubes from the refrigerator water inlet valve to the ice maker and water dispenser then you need the 5/16" and 1/4" connectors to fix it. - The part number for the water line installation kit is AP3890980 - The part number for the 1/4" connector is AP3085805 - The part number for the 5/16" connector is AP3156228I would recommend to install the in-line water filter because there is no built-in water filter in your refrigerator. - The part number for the in-line water filter is AP4324927Gene.

I have the icemaker installation kit, including 15ft of copper tubing and self piercing saddle valve w/compression fitting, I need to know where do I hook up the copper tubing, on the back of the refrig., on the bottom there is a metal hookup where the white tube is still screwed in that I had cut, and at the top there is a white nose nozzle with two screws holding it what goes in that hole?

You have to connect the copper tube to the water valve inlet connection (blue cap on the picture).  I did not get clear about other connections. If you can post a pictures, it might help. Gene.

the piece on the back of the refrigerator cover it looks like an upside down (L) fitting held with two screws and with an open hole in the (L) fitting. I like to know if I insert one end of the copper tube in it? and on the back cover on the bottom with a shape L facing up that has threads to be screwed in what goes in there?

I hooked up the icemaker installation kit as directed, check for leaks and there were none but water is inside the icemaker, causing water to constantly drip, supposing when I left it overnight to freeze I check it the next night, when I opened the door water came gushing out because the water is just constantly dripping near the icemaker. Help!!! what did I do wrong?
