I'm not having any cooling to either my frig or freezer. I have replaced the motherboard (the motherboard was replaced due to a recall, but I did not cut the ground cable like it recommends because that seemed pointless to me?), the overload and capacitor, but still got no cooling. The capacitor coils are clean and the fan works (after the motherboard replacement). I can feel the air passing into the freezer but its still room temperature. The overload is clicking so something is wrong, just not sure where to go from here. I'm tired of putting money into this GE POS. I've read you might have to replace the thermos but I want a more confident answer than just going on a whim and buying more parts. At this rate I'll have every part replaced by the end of the month.

Please help! What to do??

If you replaced the start device that looks like the AP4300623, you just might have a bad compressor, although rare for GE. If you remove the start device and it rattles when shaken, it's bad.
