I recently moved my washer out of storage and upon connection discovered that the water floods out of the bottom of the unit (not the exterior drain hose) when it begins to fill. It seems that the water goes into the tub, but then starts to drain - possibly due to a connection underneath or near the bottom that has come loose. However, I can't figure out how to open the unit up so I can inspect.

Any and all help is appreciated.

get a putty knife, and slide it under the top on the right side, about 4 inches from the end, and you should hit a clip that will release the front on that side, and then do the same on the other side. then remove the front, and inspect. tom applianceeducator.com - parts
