I have a Maytag Neptune with a hole in the drum due to the screw from trying to stop the drum turning in a move. Is it difficult to change this myself or can I cap the whole with a rubber plug and continue to use the washer? My wife would like to fix it but does not want to pay the repair cost. Where would I buy the drum kit? I am at work so I have no model number.
Thanks

Since the holes are next to the threads to secure the tub for a move I decided to seal them. This should fix it. They are only 1/4 inch.
