A few years ago I noticed that ice had formed between the outer door and inner plastic door liner of my Frigidaire freezer. An appliance tech removed the door, placed fiberglass roll insulation inside the plastic door liner, caulked the vents at the bottom of the door and caulked the gasket in place as the door was reassembled. Now there is more ice inside the door liner. Is this normal? Should the vents have been caulked?
