I have a 3yr old unit its a ac/heat , runs 45min than trips breaker which is located on cord..last part replaced was fan motor, also unit not cooling found that hi amp at motor fan, using more for heat.

That must be the breaker on the cord going bad. Is that window unit on a dedicated circuit by itself or is other stuff running on that same circuit?

You may have to get an electrician to split the wall receptacle and turn the upper and lower portions into seperate lines. This is done by breaking the tab on the wall receptacle and mounting a special dual breaker (a skinny one ) in the place of your existing one. They do it all the time in the kitchen where a dishwasher and a garbage disposal go so it can be done.
