Timer is working intermitently. Only ever use on manually timed cycle. Any help?

If it wont advance on the "timed dry" replace the timer!!!!!

Replace the timer. Alot of times, when people use the same cycle, they wear out the contacts. If it functions in the other cycles, that could get you by till you get a timer. Tom

Try running in Auto. If still intermittent you probably need a new timer. Either the motor or the gearing is going south.
Note: On many units the timer only advances when the heater turns off in Auto Cycles so it gets long pulses of power.
