The machine does not move to wash cycle and keeps filling unless I move the dial manually. From reading other threads, my suspicion is the pressure control hose but I am unable to find how to get to it on the machine.

Does to top lift up or do I need to go through the back?

Yes, it does sound like the water level switch. First unplug the washer, and by the picture it looks like you have to pop the end caps off the right and left side of the control panel, and then, behind each one is a phillips head screw, holding down the front. Remove both of them, and then flip up the control panel, and you can get to the water level switch from there. Tom

The switch is the one that you turn to set the load water level on small, medium, and large. If you pull up the control panel, like I said, and locate the switch, there will be a clear plastic hose, attached to it. Pull the hose off, and blow through it. If you can, then replace the switch. If not, where the other end of the hose goes, which is on the right side of the drum, close to the back, it would be clogged there, sending a false message to the water level switch. Tom

One other thing kayakcrzy. If the hose happens to be clogged, will I be able to get the the other end of the hose next to the drum, from the panel area or will I need to take anything else off? Thanks again.

The hose does not seem to be clogged. I was able to blow in it and could hear air going straight through. Does this mean that the only thing it can be is the switch or could the hose be broken somewhere between the switch and the drum? It did work intermittently so I'm thinking if the hose was busted, it would never work correctly. What do you think?
