Im certain with the location that my water is leaking from that the above listed items are the correct fix for my machine. My questions are, is the cost of the parts and spanner wrench worth repairing my paticular machine....and if so what are the appropriate steps for making this repair....thanks inadvance for your input

I would like to give you a heads up on a few things, like the threads are opposite, so when you knock off the tub mounting screw, with the spanner wrench, turn it clockwise. The same with stem kit. All backwards threads. Also be careful, with the advised punch rod, that you don't damage the spline's on the transmission. One other little thing, when you put the boot seal on, get some dishwashing liquid, and rub some on the bottom of the seal, that goes toward the tub, and turn it clockwise, and be sure it sits flush against the tub.
