I have a 3 1/2 year old dryer. It was working fine and when i put a new load in and went to turn the the start knob it hums and a clicking noise comes from the timer. The door switch is ok since the light works. i checked the thermal limiter and that is ok. Any help you could give would be appreciated.

check to see if hum sound is coming from motor
