Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 8/13/2008(UTC) Posts: 3,097		If there is a lot of frost on the back of the freezer, remove the lower rear panel in the freezer and see if there is a lot of ice. If so and you have an ohm meter check the defrost thermostat (little thing about the size of a quarter and 1/2 " or so thick with two wires) located near the top of the evaporator coils. If it does not have continuity replace that part with this Part Details - FRIGIDAIRE Thermostat - defrost, part number: 5303918214. If it does have continuity go to the refrigerator side and open the control panel up and locate this part Part Details - FRIGIDAIRE Adaptive defrost control board, part number: 240554502 (defrost control) and replace that part. Let me know if this helps or if you need any thing else. Nat
