On the unfortunant side, our great appliance design engineers, who never have to work on them decided that your model, the element ends will be in the rear. So, you will need to kill the power to the dishwasher, take the bottom cover off the front, and you will see where the wires hook up to the dishwasher, behind a small metal cover, and then you will need to shut the water off to the dishwasher under the sink, and then take the drain hose off at the disposal. You will also have to take the water line off at the water valve, either under the sink, or at the dishwasher. Now we need to pull the dishwasher out. So open the door, and look up top, you most likely have 2 screws holding the dishwasher in place. Take them out, and pull the dishwasher out. Now lay it on its back and take the wires off the heater, and unscrew the nuts by hand, and lay the dishwasher back on its feet, and open the door, and remove the old one. Then reinstall it all. All that for a 1 minute repair. Engineers????????? Tom
