Read somewhere on this site that when attempting to discriminate F1-7 code between touch pad and clock that if you disconnect the touch pad, reenergize the range, and it still reads f1-7 that it is the ERC and not the touch pad that is bad. This seems odd to me. If F1-7 had to do with bad connections and you disconnect something (the touch pad) wouldn't you expect it to continue to read F1-7 and beep?

Thanks!
