Dishwasher won't drain. We don't use it often.I looked at the electrical schematic and this model doesn't seem to use a drain valve. So if this uses a pump to drain the water, does the motor run in an opposite direction to drain. Also just a note:since the last time we used it,we had a recall done for the dispenser latch, could something have been left disconnected? THANKS

Mine isn't draining the water from the bottom of the tub....but it goes thro all the cycles. I researched online and an article said it may be the food-drain tub that has stuff collected in it. You said that it doesn't look like it has a drain tube........there's one hose - the same hose fills the water as well as drains. You have to take the dish basket out and get the right tools to disconnect everything .....taking off everything, washing and cleaning it all. If you can't see back there in the back, take a mirror and put it where you can. And then put it back thro a whole cycle. Hopefully this will work. It should work.
My problem is I'm not a good handi-person so I don't know which type of tools are used. So, I'll have to ask someone that question. ha ha. Donna

I found the problem,I own an old home and found the nipple at the sink drain was blocked so it wouldn't allow water to leave the hose. Hope this helps others. Thanks ;)
